This article is about Robert Greene’s book “The Laws of Human Nature” and Greene mostly writes about human behavior to raise awareness and to improve quality of life.

I have seen a big shift in my personality after getting into Psychology because all I study in this field is how our brain works and reacts in situations, and much more related to human nature and behavior. Greene’s book has some basic laws that we should know to deal with humans.

Let’s talk about the four laws that I love the most.

1. The Law of Seeing People’s Masks

People sometimes wear masks to fit in groups and to get what they want. If you want to know someone truly you shouldn’t trust the impression they create in the start to avoid problems in the future.

Always try to see if their words match their actions. Discuss different topics to understand how they think and react to intense and taboo topics. Observe how they treat people when things get worse, their coping mechanisms, how they’re trying to present themselves, etc.
