The negative motivations that got me thinking about starting my own business were:
- I was pissed off with commuting
- Work hours limited my ability to enjoy other aspects of my life
- Work was only occasionally satisfying
- My bosses cramped my thinking and my initiatives
- The opportunities to express myself were limited
- The opportunities for personal growth were limited
- The earning possibilities were limited
I went in search of a way of earning a living that would allow me:
- Freedom to express myself
- To feel that my work had value
- Time to enjoy all aspects of my life
- The freedom to choose how to spend most of my days
- Opportunities to learn about what interested me and use my knowledge to enhance my life
- Opportunities to grow as a human being
- To enjoy an income only capped by my personal effort…
