After reading several stories written by upset writers who support this platform. Supporting it with monthly payments. I realized I wasn’t alone.
In this story, I will give you a high-level perspective of my experience and my observations as a writer and volunteer editor of ILLUMINATION on Medium. Authentic writers pour their hearts and souls, but they are not compensated as they deserve.
We, as volunteer editors, donate our precious time to keep this platform clean from spam, plagiarism, and AI-written crap while ensuring authentic voices are heard. But Medium does not show even a little appreciation for what we do and instead penalizes us, putting us in the spam category. This is unfair and must be…
