A few weeks back, we went downtown to make giant bubbles. Why? You may ask.
We made giant bubbles to catch people’s gaze and make kids smile. We wanted to provoke an odd conversation between strangers and make them look out of their phones. To make people uncomfortable and curious.
Public art is a transformative force, capable of breathing life into public spaces and captivating the imagination of passersby. However, its potential goes far beyond aesthetics. Public art inspires conversation, challenge societal norms, and unites diverse communities.
We have forgotten public spaces are for us to take them.
