Regardless of how you feel about technology and smartphones, the world of influencers and content creators, social media's impact on world news, and people's opinions, we all somewhat contribute to this new way of living. You, like me, most likely have your phone in hand or at an arm's length away, ready to pick up anytime to answer calls, see that email notification that just came from your boss, or take a quick picture of that street sign or cat. In some way, we all act exactly how we criticize others for doing things.

And what's so wrong with that? Well, if you ask me, absolutely nothing.

The older I get, the more I understand how finite our time on earth is, how fragile we become as humans with age, and how little time we have to experience or live the same things twice. In the blink of an eye, you go from 18 to 31 without knowing how you got here. Before, you used to dream about seeing the world, and now you’re doing it. You wished to live abroad and create a life of your own, and now all you wish for is that you could go back to being a kid living with mom and dad. You start going down memory lane in your phone’s photo album like things that you still have fresh in your memory like it happened yesterday when it was two years ago. You start…
