The Scream.
As she stood amongst the trees,
She took a deep breath and let out a scream.
An overwhelming feeling had been gripping her for weeks,
Unable to address it, she knew she needed to let out those feelings.
As happy as she was in life,
Uncertain had been things for a while.
They took their time and as the stars aligned,
Like domino pieces, you could see them fall in a line.
For at any given point in time,
You could never really know if things will be fine.
But day after day, all she could do was say, Hey! It will be alright.
With hope in front of her and past behind,
better things were in store, she said with a smile.
And as the pieces started to align,
she realized she’d been right, except she was also surprised.
With each step forward, she learned something new,
She had something to hold onto, something so true.
And with hope in her heart and a smile on her face,
She took the next step forward ready to embrace any change.
