Trying to be more productive? Feeling exhausted after just a few hours and each day feels like Groundhog Day?

Here is a very simple solution: Take more lunch breaks! I’ve worked this way for a while, especially when the grind really starts to get to me.

All you and your boss wants are outcomes, not hours!

Here’s 10.1 steps to achieve just that!

  1. Get a good night’s sleep! (seriously, you’ll enjoy this more!)
  2. List your top 5 tasks, your MITs (Most Important Tasks)
  3. Break your day into 90 min work slots and 15–30 min “lunch breaks”
  4. Work on your MOST important takes in the first 90 min time slot
  5. Take a 15–30 min break . This is more mental than physical. You’re going to feel “guilty” for not ploughing into the next task
  6. Continue on same task if you need to until it comes to a natural end: you’ve finished it, you can do no more on it today. Or commence the next task.
  7. After 90 minutes take another break. Go for a walk, get some sunshine, find a quiet space and meditate…
