People think they have complete control over their bodies but when they are placed in certain positions, they realize they are far from it.

If you’ve never tried activities such as Muay Thai, Acroyoga, or Reformer Pilates, you’ll probably not understand what good control of your body feels like. These activities require you to contract and relax certain muscles in your body at will. It can be as minute as only contracting certain parts of your palm while relaxing all other parts of it.

It’s how gymnastics athletes or calisthenic athletes can do planches, front levels, and muscle-ups in a completely clean manner effortlessly. These superhuman feats might seem difficult to do, but they can be trained from the ground up.

Most people train for many months and years doing the same things time and time again. Yet when they tried to do those exercises, they never seemed to get to the point where they could do these superhuman feats.

The problem is they are just pushing at the same angle and with the same weight multiple times, without much progression.
