They Said It Was Impossible. They Were Wrong.
A good size group of boys ages 11, 12, and 13 gathered at an intersection in their neighborhood during the summer of 1964. Trees shaded the sidewalks and parts of the streets. Cicadas buzzed in the trees. A slight breeze rustled the leaves of the elm trees and maple trees. Occasional fluffy white clouds floated above, sometimes blocking the sun.
