The Story of My Japanese Maple(s)

The silk Japanese maple was huge. It sat in a nondescript pot in the corner of a silk plant warehouse, now long gone, close to Denver Dumb Friends League in the southeast part of town.

Lori, my best friend at the time, was helping me shop for home greenery. It was 1980.
