The Third Gender!

My own work!

Here’s something I have never understood and I think nor will I ever. Why do we as humans have the certain need to exfoliate ourselves into believing that what we say is not to be accountable for because we know of the particular phrase, “freedom of speech”. We not only misuse it, but we also end up deleting chunks of ourselves that make us human. I think we still haven’t cracked the code of what human beings are and exactly what makes us human. For as long as I could remember, the world was supposed to be looked at from the distance or from the lenses of one particular being. We were never allowed to question anything not even ourselves and then we all together forgot how to question. We all are a product made perfectly, a product that could answer all the valid and important questions. A full functioning product with a brain that can question and a heart that could feel. But somewhere between the lines, it got installed with a bad program and then it forgot to answer the most valid questions, the most important ones.

We divided ourselves into two categories and had the courage to even destroyed those two as well. Each one of us ponders over things and knowingly and unknowingly shatter them. Here I wouldn’t say that we do things without realizing it. That would be the greatest lie I would tell knowingly. So, the division was as simple as we thought making no room for the misfits. We created a line that wasn’t meant to be drawn and we did so without keeping any space for alterations. Every person that falls over that line was then labeled as a misfit.

We identify ourselves as either males or females, the masculine and the feminine gender. It's not like we are at peace with this as well. Like I said earlier, we teared up that apart as well. To the point where we are now getting confused about who to call ourselves. If I am a male, I need to be muscular, emotionless, dominating, angry, powerful, and uncontrollable and if I am a female, I must be full of emotions, degrading, weak, and full of control because we know what happens when we cross “THE LINE”. With this fight, we ignored the third gender and again knowingly. We decided all on our own to put the third gender into the category of the misfits. “transgender people” more popularly knowns as “khusra” We turned that name into an abuse, we abuse them and then we use the name to abuse each other.

Looking at us now, there’s still no change in us. We say that we are on the journey that is leading towards change but if you look closely, we haven’t changed at all at least not in a good way. We say that we do things without a cause or a purpose. But behind everything we do there is always a big vendetta. We never do things without the thought of not winning something maybe if we stop with the thought of being a winner or a loser, we could change. But it’s a long shot, the line of hope cannot be seen, it might be there but the goggles we are wearing are all baffled with lies.

We need to learn how to question if we actually think we are the misfits.
