Two kinds of gratitude
How grateful are you for what you have? And perhaps more revealing, how grateful are you for what you can give? Is gratitude always good, or can it be misused? Can it be real or fake, right or wrong? Like most things in life, the answer depends on the person and the situation.
Gratitude can spring from many places, including the mind, heart, relationships, spiritual beliefs, health, and from both what we receive and give. Sometimes, it’s small and subtle, and at other times, it overflows from deep within.
Then, there are cousins to gratitude, such as thankfulness, gratefulness, pleasingness, and appreciativeness. When sincerely felt, they magnify joy and deepen our experience of life in magnificent ways.
