The View

When you are on the mountains, enjoying the view you have, but are afraid to because of what you might have in the future.

there, far away, from the mountains, I
was too afraid to hold onto
the lovely view when I did
the one and only thing
I could ever see
when I want to;
enjoy life
as I
am

Sometimes, I am afraid of what my future will give me. I know somewhere I have something beautiful, but since my divorce I am really afraid to enjoy life, get everything out of my life. I have to reorganize my life, with the children and in my own howe I — luckily — could buy.

I will challenge you to write a nonet poem about one time of your life being afraid and yet still continue life and holding onto your life and what you will achieve someday.

Nonet Poetry

Rules for the Nonet Poetry:
- 9 lines for the whole poem.
- The first line has 9 syllables, the second line has 8 syllables, and so on until you have one syllable in the last — thus nine…
