I remember sitting at my desk, staring at my computer screen, thinking, “How on earth am I going to make this work?”

those were the days…….

So here’s the thing.

I learned pretty quickly that there are some major pitfalls you’ve gotta watch out for if you want to actually make money doing this.

And boy, did I stumble into a few of them! 😅

Not charging enough for your writing services

This was a big one for me.

When I first started, I was so desperate for work that I’d take anything. And I mean anything.

I’d write 1000-word articles for like $5. Can you believe that? 🤦‍♀️ I was basically working for peanuts.

But here’s the thing — and it took me way too long to figure this out — if you don’t value your own work, no one else will either.

So, I had to learn to stand up for myself and charge what I was worth. It wasn’t easy, let me tell you. But it was so worth it in the end.
