They Are Always Around Us

This article is about people who encircle us with their positivity but we become so ignorant that we neglect their presence. We are too busy pleasing people who care for our existence only when they need us and neglect the ones who are living because we exist. We value people who aren’t deserving and people who value us are ignored. Maybe while reading this you will get an insight into who is still with you and has always been.

We all have a point in our lives when we feel that our worth is being questioned. We are blamed, accused, and feel as if everything in life is meaningless because people don’t care and we care a bit too much for such people than deserved. The worst part is that we become too expectant. We don’t know the difference between a person and a person close to our hearts.

I got to know that no matter how hard I work or put my soul into something, people are not going to notice it until it satisfies them in one way or the other. But does that mean that we should stop working hard for a cause that aims at love and kindness? Should we just work to get appreciation and attention from people?

Of course, no! Our work doesn’t need to be recognized or appreciated. The truth is that people will never recognize our efforts but they will recognize our success and I just feel that if a person recognizes my result more than my hard work then that person is probably not so close to me. The beloved ones will recognize the hardships we went through to get where we are.

We may encounter a lot of things in the way but that doesn’t mean that we should give up what we do. However, if our self-worth is questioned then it’s always best to walk out. Saving our self-worth and moving out of a circle isn’t giving up. It simply means that we value ourselves enough and don’t let it fall in hands of someone who wishes to control how we feel.

I have understood that I just need to leave the circle that surrounds me with illusion and negativity but I have to hold the center to draw a circle of my own.

We just need to eliminate people who make us feel degraded or people for whom we have done everything selflessly. The fruits that they deserve for their actions will be served in front of them. That’s the rule of this world. We don’t need to make someone feel how we felt after what they did to us but we just need to get rid of negative attachments. Because it will never help us grow or move on.

With time, we get to know people who have always been constant in our life. People who have seen me suffer and who wish to see me where they couldn’t get. Unfortunately, we all have those people but we don’t recognize them because we are too busy justifying to ourselves that people who aren’t ours still care for us. The harsh truth is that no one cares for us except for them whom we still haven’t noticed. They are just like fragrant flowers, their fragrance is hidden because of winds and drenched because of rain.
But this doesn’t mean that they aren’t fragrant and were never around.
They were always with us, always around us. It’s our ignorance that hinders us from sensing them.

As long as we are veiled from knowing these people, misery will follow our way. We all have a span of life which is too short to even tell whether it’s real or not but filling it with real people is going to make this dream a livable one.
