The exchange took place on a UK TV show called ‘Grand Designs” where presenter Kevin McCloud follows people doing extreme and unusual house builds.
In the most recent, he looked on wide-eyed as the homeowner admitted he didn’t have the first clue what to do.
But guess what?
He threw himself into the massive challenge and yes, he made mistakes, and remember, he wasn’t making mistakes with a meaningless piece of writing.
This was his home that he was working on.
He got his head down and gave it a go.
At the end of the show, he stood proudly in front of the home that he’d built. He had some help of course. We all need help. But the vast majority was down to him finding out how to do something and giving it a go.
Sometimes we’re paralysed by the most ridiculous of reasons;
What if my friend laughs at what I’m trying to do?
What if no one reads it?
