In the 2010s or better to say the first few years of social media being born, the big focus was on how many followers, influence or clout a person has.

BUT everything has changed now!

Have you ever wondered why any social media app such as instagram, tiktok, etc. don’t show you contents from your followings/followers as much as they used to before?

The algorithm has changed to what type of content is more engaging for you and can keep you longer in the app.

This is a HUGE fact that only a few people think about it and know how to take advantage of it!

Here is how you can use social media in your favor!

Take advantage of social media:

More than 90% of people who use social media are consumers.

So it means if you start creating you’re automatically in the top 10% in the world.

“This platform is so saturated“

“I’m too late to the party”

“My content isn’t good enough yet. I need to perfect it first.”

“What if people judge me or leave negative comments?”

“I have no idea what to post. I’m not inspired.”

“What if I share too much personal information?”

“I’ll start creating content tomorrow. Just not today.”

These are only a few excuses a person tell themselves so they feel better for not starting to create anything online!

Well let me open it for you: the number of followers doesn’t matter anymore!

You can go viral on your first post if you hit the right audience.

Don’t overthink it because when you do you think you don’t have any idea how to start but when you make your first post then the ideas flood in.

It’s a cycle, the more you create the more you will be surprised by how much information you had before and you will stop overthinking.

Steps:

  1. Pick a niche you’re good at. (Don’t say “oh but this isn’t a profitable niche”. It is actually; to the right people)
  2. Make contents around it.
  3. Don’t focus on the amount of followers they have the least importance in today’s algorithm.
  4. Keep creating. All it takes is that ONE post that will pop up and make you go viral.
  5. Voila.

It is way more easier than people think. It may look hard but it’s not!

Do not underestimate the power of the internet.

Cheers!

See you in the next one ;)
