Time For Everything
The Bible in the book of Ecclesiastes 3:1 says “To everything, there is a season and a time for every purpose under the heaven”.
Are you passing through a time of pain, and sorrow and everything you do doesn’t seem to bring joy to you? Encourage yourself that there is time for everything and that as long as you live in this mortal (temporal) world, there is nothing that is permanent.
A season is a set period of time during which an event occurs. There is a season of plantation and there is also a season of harvest. There is a season of rejoicing as well as the season of mourning. No matter what a season is to you, one thing that will maintain to be sure is that seasons come and seasons go.
Today’s season, no matter how awful it can seem, it is better than yesterday’s season. And because today’s season is not permanent, the season of tomorrow is always better than today’s season.
This you should know so that you live to appreciate God in each season that comes your way.
