Tiny Tales (Part 4): There Lived A Man
There lived a perfect man — his heart never broken and mind never boggled, his words never fumbled and thoughts never lost, his steps never stumbled and hands never quivered, and his plans never failed and dreams never shattered.
Never he sailed upon the joyous tides of love stirred by the impermanence of it — so, never was his heart broken.
Never he looked up at the stars in the night sky and marvelled about his place in the cosmos — so, never did his mind boggle.
Never he composed a poem on the beauty of the golden morning sun rising from the east sea — so, never did his words fumble.
Never he pondered upon whether everything there is has at some point come from nothing — so, never were his thoughts lost.
Never he walked down the path that no one else took — so, never did his steps stumble.
Never he held in his hands with wonder a newborn life that had just arrived to make its signature on the pages of time — so, never did his hands quiver.
Never he aimed to accomplish what was beyond the horizons of his comfort — so, never did his plans fail.
Never had he gained the courage to dream what seemed impossible — so, never did his dreams shatter.
There lived this man, or did he live at all?
