To Get What You Want – Just Leave It

Sometimes fast is slow but regular. Just relax and let it go. And that’s one of the hardest lessons in my life.

How could you describe yourself in a couple of words, each with a different part of speech? Here’s a characterization my team once gave me:

Give. This. Immediately.

Yeah, patience is not my strong suit. And that’s probably why most of the time I always have to wait. This is my lesson. But no matter how hard you try to train patience with knitting, you can’t hide nature. And that’s a tough thing.

But at the same time, there are 4 ways how everything you desire can become real and then it’s worth waiting:

Goals — when you know and do everything that depends on you. Step by step, rolling up your sleeves. The most clear, simple, and obvious way for many people. It’s deliberate and very business-like. For example, I want a food truck on the beach. To do this I need to: find a machine, and the right equipment, get permission, create a menu, hire a chef, purchase food, and so on. The faster I behave, the easier I’ll reach the goal.

Wishes — when you formulate a wish and let it go, but there’s nothing magical about it, it’s just that your “wants” go to an unconscious level and your brain starts making choices in favor of it. The main thing here is to believe that everything will work out. That is, if I want a food truck, I imagine it in details and colors: what model, shape, who will come to it, and so on, and I put this idea aside from the active phase for a while.

Signs of the Universe — when something happens in your life by itself that you don’t realize or even dream of. It’s that “I didn’t think about it, and it just happened on its own” feeling. In fact the desire for everything was and is, just hidden from consciousness, and further through signs you find the way. You didn’t think you wanted a food truck, but then you got an offer to rent one, and then you got an email offering to open a franchise yogurt bar.

Permission — when you don’t realize what you want, but you do a lot of things. It’s about intuition and letting life happen. You haven’t thought about the fact that you want a food truck, but you’ve calculated how much it would cost for a freezer and powder for the yogurt ice cream you love so much, but for some reason, you can’t find it around.

My point is that you can achieve your goals by rolling up your sleeves and letting life happen. That is, all four types of realization are possible and quite workable. The only thing is that I would not blindly rely on providence and shift the responsibility for myself to the big space. As they say, hope for yourself, but do not fail. Or is it already an attitude, don’t you think?
And even if you’re skeptical about the described 4 types, leaving is still a good idea. It would be strange to think you can lift 200 kilos without ever training. It always takes time to achieve sustainable quality results.

I wish you to dream from your heart, exhale, and let life happen. And this sometimes takes time.

Give you all the patience I have.
