To the Neighbor Who Left a Note in Our Mailbox About Our Flag

Dear Neighbor,
Thank you for your observation about our flag. We appreciate that you took the time to drop a note in our mailbox to inform us. It was so thoughtful of you to bring it up, I’m sure it has been on your mind for a few days. We’d thank you in person, but you forgot to sign the note.
We’re sure that was just an oversight.

A disabled Navy veteran lives here, but you should know that already. He struggles with daily pain yet he’s able to fly two flags. Did you notice he replaced one flag already, he does what he can.
Did you notice his wife works all day?
Did you notice he’s had another surgery?
Did you notice he’s been mowing with a push mower?
Did you notice his wife is now mowing with a push mower?
Did you notice the broken riding lawn mower in the driveway?
Did you notice anything about your neighbor other than your own agenda?
Your neighbor replaced the wind-torn flag before his surgery; now the flagpole dropped. Feel free to leave another note, or better yet help us.
