Trip Report: 3 months as a digital nomad in Chile, Argentina and Brazil
Including what I learned and what I’d do differently
Dearest Stubborn Travelers,
Firstly, hello! I’ve noticed a few more subscribers recently, so if you’re new, welcome. I’m Jules, a freelance writer with itchy feet. I’m based in London (loosely), but try to visit new places for a couple of months every year.
Most recently, I finished a stint working remotely with my partner in Chile, Argentina, and Brazil. Today’s post outlines a bit on what we did, learned and what we’d do differently. Here’s hoping you can learn from our mistakes, inform future trips, or just indulge a little curiosity on what it’s like to work from the road.
This will be a more informal piece with an AMA (Ask Me Anything) at the end. If you have any questions, don’t be shy — I love chatting about DNing and very happy to share what it’s like! This was my latest DN trip (and the first one with my partner), but I’ve been doing it on and off for the past 10 years or so.
