We live in a house. That house is situated in a village/district/city. That city is situated in a state. That state is situated in a country. The country is situated inside a continent. The 7 continents are situated on Earth. The Earth is a part of the solar system. This solar system has 9 planets inside of it. The largest star is the sun here.

The solar system is inside the galaxy called the ‘Milky Way’. This Milky Way has billions of giant stars, which are even bigger than the sun. The Milky Way is just one galaxy. There are billions of galaxies, in our universe, which are even larger than the Milky Way. These billions of galaxies make up one universe.

This universe is termed by human beings as an ‘observable universe’. It means, what human beings have explored in this universe, is up to what they can see or observe, beyond that they cannot see, what is in this universe. They have explored to a limit, to which they can observe. It means there are still infinite things to be explored in this universe, which we still do not know.

But this is just one universe, we are talking about. According to modern science, there is a ‘Multiverse Theory’, which says there are many universes like this. But it is already written in the ancient scriptures, it is written that, just like this is one universe, there are infinite universes. There are so many universes, which we cannot even count with our finite intellect.

According to the ancient scriptures, these infinite universes, together, make up 1/4th of God’s creation, which is called the material realm. The material realm is 1/4th of God’s creation. The rest 3/4th is the spiritual realm, which is God’s abode.

That spiritual realm makes the other 3/4th creation of God. That spiritual realm, where God resides with his infinite names, in his infinite forms, in his infinite qualities, in his infinite pastimes, in his infinite abodes, with his infinite saints, etc., which can never be understood by the tiny material intellect of ours.

That spiritual realm has infinite happiness, infinite bliss, infinite knowledge, infinite service, etc. There is no anxiety or lamentation there. Forget the universe, human beings haven’t even explored the earth itself. 70% of the Earth is still covered by oceans, in which 80% of it is still unexplored.

In that, God’s creation, 3/4th is the spiritual realm, 1/4th, the material realm, and in that material realm, there are infinite universes, and in those infinite universes, there is one universe, which has billions of galaxies, in which there is one galaxy called Milky Way, in which there is a solar system, in which there is one Earth planet, in which there are 7 continents, in which there is one country, in which there is one state, in which there is one city, in which there is one house and in that one tiny soul.

This is us in front of God. Yet, he loves us unconditionally, eternally. He, again and again, comes or descends to this Earth planet, to give us his appearance, knowledge, love, etc. Even if we are tiny souls, he is still sitting inside our hearts. He is sitting inside even insects and even microbes. That is God! Even though is infinitely big, infinitely intelligent, infinitely magnificent, he is infinitely loving as well.

We cannot come to God, by our material body, intellect, and mind, which is dirty and impure. We can only come to him when make ourselves, our inner self pure. And we can only make ourselves pure, by surrendering ourselves to him, by surrendering our mind and intellect to him, by being devoted to him, and by having love and faith in him in our hearts. He only needs our hearts, with love, faith, and devotion in it. With the help of this, we can become pure. When we try to attach our mind to the purest thing, which is God himself, obviously we will become pure as well.

We are souls, not the body. We came empty-handed here, we will leave empty-handed. We will leave even our bodies here. The body is provided to us for use of it in the material world, and to use it for the welfare of the soul itself. Nothing will remain with us forever here. The only thing that will matter here is what we did here for God. How much devotion or remembering we did for God, our supreme loving father/mother, in our heart, and nothing else.

For the people who do not devote themselves to God, for them, the rule of karma will matter, which is, what works, duties, and responsibilities, they did and how? Only devotion (Bhakti) and work (Karma) matter here. These two are the only things, which will be counted in God’s account book of each and every soul, especially the souls who have acquired human bodies. But devotion (Bhakti) is the one thing, which is the most important, our primary purpose.

If we see on a spiritual level, a higher level, or a deeper level, nothing belongs to us here. We are just using things here, and caretaking for it. They all belong to God. All the resources, all the souls, all the matter, belong to him. We are just tiny souls, sent to this world so that we can again realize God’s value in our life, be surrendered and devoted to him again, and make ourselves pure. With the help of which he may grace us, once again, and we may come to him. He provided us with body, family, house, education, and all the rest of his resources, for our needs, here, so that we may use them for our living. But the main thing we are sent here by God is devotion.

By performing devotion, God forgives the sins of our endless lifetimes, makes us pure, gives us the knowledge of him and everything, graces us, and brings us closer to him. And devotion means, surrendering to God, loving and trusting God, cry for God with a truthful heart, like a baby cry for his mother.
