Every time I have to take antibiotics for an infection, I cringe.

I think my gut starts cringing at first, and then the expression appears on my face.

All the hard work I do day in and day out to keep my gut health in good shape is now a waste of time — as soon as I start taking those dreaded pills.

Not only do I experience the whole gamete of side effects, but I know it’s going to take me years, even remotely, to heal my gut.

My gut is already highly sensitive due to allergies & food intolerances, so if you’re like me, you know it takes double the amount of time to get into some normal gut balance.

But do you ever attain a balance in your gut health at all?

What I find amazing is that antibiotics affect men and women differently.

Changes in the diversity of the gut microbiome can have a negative impact.

On the other hand, studies have shown that overall microbial diversity promotes vitality and resilience. In addition, it can make the gut healthy.
