Overview

I had been taking the drug for almost a month. The bottle said that it “may make me drowsy or dizzy.” No big deal. It did a whole lot more than that! We didn’t associate other problems with the prescription until last week after a weird argument in a restaurant. Not loud, but strange behavior by both of us. We quit dancing and were hardly talking when we left.

The Trigger Event

We went out for dinner and dancing to one of our favorite singers. We had decided to split a side order of pasta at the restaurant. We each had our plates. The server set the pasta 5 inches from one plate. The disagreement was whether to get the pasta with a fork and pass it over those 5 inches of table or put the dishes together. It escalated from there. Finally, we left early.

I thought on the way home, “What a stupid reason to get upset.

Side Effects

After we got home, we sat down to talk about what happened. We both learned that we had a misunderstanding about the other and agreed to work on that.
