The PlayStation 5 (PS5) has been one of the most sought-after technology products on the market in recent times, with its availability often being limited to short bursts of time when retailers announce restocks.
The PS5 has received high praise from gamers due to its impressive graphics and extensive library of top titles.
However, recent reports suggest the potential launch window for the PS5’s successor, the PS6, may have been leaked. This information comes from documents released by the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA), a branch of the UK government that regulates competition.
The CMA is currently assessing the potential takeover of Activision Blizzard by Microsoft. Sony, who has publicly opposed the merger, filed documents as part of their contention.
