The Washington National Cathedral is a National Treasure of the United States of America.

I am fascinated by the fabulous stained-glass windows, streaming rainbow-like glowing light to the interior of the Cathedral.

The Life of Jesus is a Pilgrimage through the nine Chapels.

From Civil War to Civil Rights. Many stories are told through art & iconography — astonishing details in stained glass & carvings.

The West Rose window design by Rowan LeCompte took my breath away!

Even this brief YouTube video needs to do justice to its actual view at the Cathedral. Mesmerizing to me!

The tomb of Woodrow Wilson, the 28th President of the United States, lies buried in the Cathedral.

The War Memorial Chapel has a Freedom Emancipation panel. This stained glass window explores themes of freedom & justice.
