What can salespeople learn from a professional hitman?

While I don’t encourage salespeople to earn a living as an assassin like John Wick (played by Keanu Reeves), he offers specific skills we can all model to improve our performance.

But before I continue, I need to warn you there will be spoilers from the four movies from the John Wick franchise. If you have yet to watch any of the films, I recommend that you stop reading and return once you have viewed all of the movies.

Summary — Who is John Wick?

Trained as an assassin at an early age, Mr. Wick moved up the ranks of a crime syndicate run by the Russian Mafia. Known as “Baba Yaga” (“the one you sent to kill the Boogeyman”), Mr. Wick is not the kind of guy you want to get on his wrong side unless you want to die.

This is not to say that Mr. Wick is a hothead, far from it. He is calm, polite, and calculating. He is a man of few words. But don’t let his demeanor fool you. Mr. Wick will kill you without hesitation.

No, he’s not a cold-blooded killer. Mr. Wick will try to spare the innocent. While his many fight scenes are like bloody ballet dances with knives, guns, and other weapons, like a ballerina, Mr. Wick is always focused — never erratic.
