A Peer Mentor is someone who uses their excellent experience in befriending, guiding, persuading, teaching, and nurturing their peers through collaboration, companionship, and genuine understanding.
As a Peer Mentor, I use my skills and experience to fill the gaps in accomplishing my peer’s social, academic, and personal self goals.

A Peer Mentor’s role is to recognize their discrepancies and provide them with the resources they need to build their foundations, meanwhile highlighting their strengths and weaknesses.
It not only increases their productivity but also gives them the ability to gain proper judgment and insight that helps them to improve themselves on a subliminal level.

This role demands experience & selfless mindset, for you to be successful in helping people, and yourself by the shared experience you gain.

In short, a Peer Mentor is someone who didn’t finish college in less than 7 years but dedicated their life in learning from failure and helping others succeed & avoid the many pitfalls that might arise in their life!
