What is Good Customer Service? Why Should it Matter??
We all want good customer services where ever we go but what happens when you order online, and it doesn’t work?? Well, I had that issue so I called the Chiplote store to do a phone order instead. When the store employee answered the phone I was told: “oh we don’t take phone order it is all done online”. When I explained I had an issue trying to do so online the employee didn’t care and wouldn’t take a phone order for me. What’s the use of having a phone for the store then? Not everyone orders online yet.
If I had been that employee’s boss I would have been upset. This is a potential way to upset a customer and lose one in the process.
If you don’t take care of the customer, someone else will!
I was able to order online and pay for it. When I got to the Chiplote store which wasn’t busy my order was not ready, as a matter of fact, it hadn’t even been made. So now I am waiting for it longer. It would have been quicker for me to come in and ordered it all to go in person. Not once did I hear “I’m sorry for the wait” or “thank you for your business,”. I did hear “please be sure to fill out the survey on the receipt.” Well, I like doing surveys, and I did do that one!
Now, will I stop going to Chiplote? No, I won’t go back to that one store because this isn’t the 1st time I have had bad services from this store. I have heard anything from Chiplote ?? Not as of yet.
**Update**
I did do an online survey with no answer. With the Coronavirus and only non-essential business open. You would think business would care. This store hasn’t changed. So I filled out another survey.
During this time of Covid19 do your best to support small businesses as much as you can!
