I am not here to tell how it feels to face a lion, or to climb a mountain, or whatever might be a fear of yours’. This is about the mind of ours’ that is afraid even of the slightest discomfort in life.

Do you know what is it that we are so terrified by?

Surprisingly, it is not a particular disease, or a gangster who knocks outside our house every night, threatening us; but it is the ordinary people around us. How? Many of us are either afraid of our parents, or teachers or any siblings. This is a great fault of ours’. The only one we are born to fear is God. Our parents, spouse, mentors are just his creations like us. When we fear the people, we are made to live up to their gestures, and how they treat us, depending our every decision on them. But when we fear the Almighty, we change the purpose of our life to making him happy, and the only thing that makes him happy is truthfulness. Only good comes when we fear him, because as we do this, we prohibit ourselves to commit crimes or any bad deeds. Although, there is a thin line between not fearing and dis-respecting the people. Everyone deserves respect. Just treat them how you want to be treated by them.

We are creating such a level of conflict within ourselves thinking “it’s wrong”, “it’s wrong” for every simple thing.

Nobody knows if what they are doing is 100% right, so why bother yourself with overthinking the easiest things. If it makes you happy, you have no right to believe it’s wrong, or to let anyone else tell you that.

You know what the worst type of people are?

Those who think they are always right. The over-confidence and arrogance in them reach its zenith before they see themselves crumble because of it. You don’t have to do everything right, just a little more human and make sure it doesn’t cause hurt to you and your loved ones.

What is right? What is wrong? Who’s there to decide? Nobody, right? So as long as it is harmless, it is always right.

I know this feeling myself. For months I let my wonder what it would be like to be a writer, but always held back. When I finally started writing, I have not regretted a moment since. Who said if doing this was right or wrong? No one. I decided to make myself happy, so I describe it as right. Now it depends on you if you want to see that priceless smile in the mirror. I say, Go for it.
