What it is like to be a woman.

It is currently the year 2022, but can anyone say that it is the same world for a man and a woman?

I know this is a crazy topic with billions of opinions of others. So much that we are tired of reading it now, but how has anything changed even after all the articles, all these intellectual talks?

I see no difference when I read about the previous times and notice the environment right now. Recently, I got into driving a little too much. I was passing by a group of men and one of them said, “Take a side, it’s a woman driving”. What? So, if a man would have been driving, you wouldn’t have taken a side and let him hit you? We are laughed at for driving for what? For driving slow and carefully? Or maybe the brakes need more physical power than we have? I honestly wish that those who say this get to hear this back because, oh, it sucks to be on this side.

Let’s jump onto appearance for a minute…

I am not saying that men don’t hear the 10,000 words to lose weight and get that tummy in, but why is it that when men hear this, it’s for their health and for women it is for marriage and relationships? So, we stay fit because people will otherwise consider not talking to us and we will be left alone all our lives. This question appears in people’s mind often: “Then, why do women use their body to attract someone?” Maybe we don’t. Maybe they are too distracted by our bodies, and not by what is in our heart. It pains me to see 13 years old counting their calories to not gain weight. Teenage is the time where there is a lot to focus on than eating 1200 calories and not 1300 by any chance. “Dress nicely, guys will not be attracted to this.”, “That is too tight, are you trying to be a slut?”,” What are you finding a job for? You anyways have to get married at the end of the day”. Fighting from all this just to make yourself proud and happy is extremely hard.

What do we simply ask for?

All we can ask for is a little support from just the people around us. We don’t have any enmity with men, it’s just that when we see some men treating us wrong, we become resistant from trusting any other, as it’s not easy to get heartbroken and trust the same again. You start losing faith from humanity, which is the same for all genders, and not just women. I hope we all can be humans and understand the pain of others to make it a better place for everyone.
