So let’s talk about expressing needs.

You know, figuring that out shouldn’t be as tricky as it might seem.

It’s a fundamental part of being human, after all!

But yeah, I get it, it can feel extra challenging in a narcissistic relationship.

We’ll navigate through it, though!

In these relationships, one thing that often happens is that you never really know what the healthy version looks like, right?

You’ve been in this kind of distorted universe for so long that you’re left wondering,

“What does healthy look like? What is it supposed to look like when you actually express a need?”

let’s break that down

Alright, so you’re in a narcissistic relationship, or maybe you have been. You express a need, a want, or an opinion. What usually happens?

Share your thoughts in the comments! But, more often than not, it’s met with rage, gaslighting, and manipulation.

There’s this perception of selfishness, eye-rolling, and oppositionality, especially if what you’re asking inconveniences them in any way.
