What We Fear Most About Aging

When I was in my 20’s, I don’t remember having any anxiety about getting older. I doubt I ever thought of what my life would be like in my 60s or 70s. When I approached my 40’s and 50’s, I started to feel some apprehension.

I notice many people do everything they can to try to look young because they fear getting older. Some use anti-aging products or use filters for the pictures they post on social media. Others go all out and have plastic surgery. Still, others go to the gym or exercise and eat healthily, so they feel and look younger as they age.

Women always have the tendency to exaggerate the truth when it comes to their age. Regardless of whether it’s a male or female, the body goes through some changes as the aging process occurs.

It is inevitable. Whether it’s wrinkled, gray hair, weight gain, dark spots on the skin, jiggly underarms, sagging breasts, etc., the reality is that everyone goes through a number of changes when they grow older. It doesn’t matter how many aging products one uses, getting older happens and the signs come sooner or later.

You may be able to hide some of your wrinkles at age 50, but you just have to accept that wrinkles come. The key to getting over your fear of aging…
