What’s in it for Me?

I’m not being cynical. I promise. I just came to a realization. People only want to know what’s in it for them.

I’ve done a lot of navel-gazing on this platform, and during that season, I wrote some pretty good stuff. But, let’s be honest, most of it was for me.

I was finding my voice, healing, and experimenting with words.

I love that you can do that here! You might resonate with a few people, give someone hope or encouragement, and, if you’re lucky, make a few bucks doing it.

But, for the most part, what pushes someone to click is the thought that something is in it for them.
