Dreaming
and I see you
Beaming
with a tender kiss.

Unaware
of the place I am in
as I Stare
in awe of another world.

then in a Sudden
it all disappears
wide Open
my eyes in shock.

Awake
and afraid
I Ache
waiting for your embrace.

It’s true that I feel lucky to know
I get to live out the dream where
you were by my side
you and I.

But the suffocating
sensation of losing
for one second
that dream is

terrifying.
