When The Magic and Power of The Network Makes a Difference
Understanding how and why the magic happens
I’m short of time and money and won’t be able to attend the fundraiser my friend organised for tonight. I text my apologies and wish her good luck.
She doesn’t need my good luck. Here’s what she says to me:
“All good, all 75 tickets sold out three weeks before, our money target’s reached … the raffle will be ‘extra’! These things work when the network is strong.”
There I am, feeling guilty I’m not able to support her efforts. Meanwhile, tickets have been sold out for weeks!
When your network is strong, you don’t need luck
I’ve seen this happen over and over again:
In multi-level marketing — when the seeds have been sown
In 2005 the sales of a Utah-based health food company called Xango, doubled. By some stroke of what seemed like luck, their growth in a place called Trinidad and Tobago — which the company’s founders had probably never heard of — skyrocketed.
