Who’s Game Are You Playing

Ever stop to think about that?

The average person spends around 90,000 hours at work. That’s a lot of hours.

Do you wake up excited to go to work? Who’s game are you playing? Who’s dream are you building? Are you told to be somewhere at a certain time? Commute for an hour to be somewhere at 8 am sharp? 9 am sharp? Spend another hour driving home at 5 or 6 pm?

Or are you waking up every single day building your own dream. Playing by your own rules. Playing your own game. Is your commute from your bedroom to your home office?

Life is short

If you aren’t trying to do your own thing because you have a fear of failure…remember this. Everyone is too self-absorbed to be concerned about your failures. No one is thinking about you. If they are it’s only for a minute. Then back to doom scrolling, worrying about money, etc.

It’s easy to get caught up in the rat race. You can blink and ages 25 to 65 have already evaporated. What did you do in those 40 years? Work for someone else? Be a cog in someone else’s machine?

I’ve been there, done that. There’s nothing wrong with this….until you know you there is something wrong it.
