Why a ‘Thinking session’ is worth it
Thinking is a skill that you need to master.
Thinking out of the box, thinking critically, thinking logically, and even thinking emotionally are important skills
And it seems like there’s no believed way of mastering these skills.
I mean, what are the chances of remembering and applying what those books told you about ‘how to think?’
But in reality that’s not it, there is something you are missing
You can’t master the art of thinking without thinking
That’s why I spent two-three hours just thinking.
No don’t use a timer, you don’t need to check the time to see your ‘process’
Only check the time when you realize you had been still and silent for quite a while
In other words, stop thinking when you realize you were thinking.
How did it help me?
- I started to be more organized and have things under control
- I figured out what things were bothering me and how to solve them
- I figured ‘out what to do in execrable messes
- I started to understand what’s okay and what’s not
- I sorted out my emotions and figured out what I felt in certain circumstances
As you can see it helps you master the skills of various types of ‘thinking’ like critical thinking, logical thing, and emotional thinking.
Making it habitual to just ‘Think’ will help you think out of the box when it comes to solving problems.
