Why Do We Feel So Empty Sometimes? The Silent Ache!

There are days when you look normal from the outside but from within you feel there’s a void that’s making you numb slowly. This unsettling feeling starts to choke you when you’re sitting alone with your thoughts.

When it happens to me, I ask myself a question — Why do I feel empty?

We all experience this void at some point in our lives that makes us numb. In this phase of life, we start thinking:

Are we becoming cold or unempathetic with others?

But, we don’t have any answer to this question. — we are just blank. We unintentionally stop showing emotions, empathy, and vulnerability to others. This feeling is not just experienced when we’re sad, we also experience this when everything seems to be in place but this feeling is still there.

I’m experiencing this feeling right now and most people say ‘I’m being ungrateful’ when I express this feeling. But they don’t understand it’s my silent scream for a connection, understanding, and something more than just…
