“Why?”

One of the most powerful words in any language. The most basic one too. One would think that this word would be used more often than it is today, but unfortunately, most people are no longer asking the question “why?”. Today, society has drummed into our minds that there is no need to ask why anymore. It’s just not worth questioning anything because truthfully, nobody knows how or why things happen the way they do.

This does not mean that we should blindly follow everything we hear or read online. This means that we should start asking ourselves why something happened before taking action on what was said or written about it. In other words, take a step back and ask yourself you need clarification on something before you give it your full attention. It is perfectly okay to question something, but it should be done for the right reasons. For example, if you find yourself jumping to conclusions about something without having all of the facts or evidence, then you are beginning to lose sight of what’s important.
