So my teams are deploying AI faster than ever before, automating everything from customer segmentation to creative generation, while I’m simultaneously plotting my escape from the very digital/AI ecosystem we’re helping to perfect.

I feel like we’re living through marketing’s most schizophrenic moment.

Every agency, tech and marketing leader I know is racing or in the midst of bolting AI onto their service stack, promising clients superhuman efficiency and scale.

I see that they’ve already have most of the premium subscriptions of OpenAI API, Anthropic, Perplexity and Gemini working top of their existing marketing stack of automation tools like n8n, Zapier and Make.

The results are undeniable. We can now produce 20x the content, probably reach 100x more prospects, and optimize campaigns in real-time with precision that would have seemed magical five years ago.

So why am I walking away from this apparent lucrative opportunity and embracing the gold rush?

To be honest, I’m not just suffering from AI fatigue, more like automation fatigue that…
