Why Nobody Will Read This Story
Or at least very few
You might be wondering how I could possibly know nobody will read this story. Well, I feel pretty certain because at the present moment hardly anybody is reading my stories. The taxing question is, why? And the answer to that is I really don’t know for sure, though I have my suspicions.
Let me go back to September last year, a time when my monthly views were at 36k, reads were at 25k and my income hit $676!
So far this month I am struggling to get past 20 views, more than half a dozen reads, per story, and $4.59 in total! This tells me that I have suddenly become a lousy writer, which I do not accept for one moment, or something else is awry. Obviously to get the reads you need the views, ergo if I am not getting the views then I cannot possibly get the reads. The question here is, why am I not getting the views?
With over 5,300 followers I would expect a great deal more than I am getting. I have to ask if my followers have suddenly stopped following me, or if they are not getting sight of my stories to follow. Whichever way you slice it, it all comes down to distribution or the lack of it.
