Have you ever experienced a situation where, despite having a well-thought-out plan, things didn’t quite unfold as expected? Here are seven potential reasons why that might have occurred:

1. Lack of experience in the thing you’re interested in doing might lead to challenges. Without experience, there’s a lot to learn, but seeking advice from someone with expertise can help. Experienced individuals tend to accomplish tasks efficiently. For example, someone initially reading 5 to 10 pages a day, after years of dedicated study, might eventually read over 700 pages daily. This expertise allows them to handle assessments quickly, while others may take longer. Little experience often comes with little patience. Waiting for improvements can be challenging, leading to unrealistic goals. As the saying goes, 'Rome wasn’t built in a day.' Achieving your goals, especially if they’re ambitious, requires acknowledging that unfavorable times and failures may precede improvements.

2. The lack of a hard work habit is crucial. Without this habit, things can get tough because you may not fully grasp the dedication required. Many YouTube videos make things seem easy, but they often mislead, especially if you lack experience. Developing a hard work habit is essential for those who want real success.

3.Consistently making excuses for your failures is crucial because, most of the time, if you don’t accept them as failures, you might miss out on valuable lessons. Learning from failure is one thing, and bouncing back is another challenge. When you fail, the best approach is to take lessons from it and then move forward without dwelling on it all the time.

4. If you don’t prioritize your work, I don’t mean putting it above your family. For instance, if there’s a family reunion, note it in your schedule. What I’m getting at is prioritizing friends and entertainment over your goals. If hanging out with friends takes precedence, it’s a bad idea since you can’t make progress.

5. Having a bad habit—anything like spending the whole day with friends or watching movies non-stop—that hinders you from working toward your goal is detrimental. These bad habits become obstacles when you’re striving to reach your goal.

6. If you have a plan B, you might not work as hard as someone with only one choice. Plan B is good, but I suggest forgetting about it until you face failure. For those without a plan B, it’s a necessity, but for those with one, it’s more like an option. Write down plan B on a piece of paper, but try not to think about it while you’re in the process.

7. Facing a lack of motivation is tough, making it harder to kickstart tasks or go after goals. Getting past this hurdle usually means taking a patient route. You kind of have to wait it out until you see some actual improvements, and that’s like a spark for motivation. Seeing even small progress gives you that fresh burst of energy and a clear sense of purpose. It’s this cycle where your initial efforts, no matter how small, lead to good things, pushing you forward with the motivation you need.
