Why would I lie? — A Poem

are you afraid of the Truth, does deceit elate you,

can you not see what I see.

are you afraid to be free, from all things that hinder thee,

are you afraid of the beat, do the sounds strike fear beneath your feet,

are you afraid of what you could be, does growth deject thee,

I can see what lies behind eyes and beneath tides.

therefore, why would I lie?
