I know you suspect the truth: You will only live so long. Then, suddenly, it’s tits up. Spending time on the wrong side of the dirt. Sayonara, baby. No longer pass go.

It’s the one thing all humans have in common: Death. This life has a set term.

Everyone has a different idea of what happens to us at death. Some believe that we go to Christian heaven; others believe we return here in a new life. And then there are the nihilists, agnostics, and atheists.

“Death means change our clothes. Clothes become old, then time to come change. So this body becomes old, and then time comes, take young body.” — Dalai Lama

Your body will eventually get old, and then you’ll die. If you truly realize this, you will be better off.

Let’s explore why you should want to know that death comes for everyone. And I mean REALLY know it, not just in some namby-pamby, far-off, theoretical fashion.

Disclaimer: For many, death is a taboo topic, so please! If this is triggering to you and you feel you shouldn’t read further, then please don’t.
