Wildfires simultaneously impact weather and the climate while discharging significant amounts of carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide and delicate, fine ash particulate matter into the atmosphere, to which life lives. The resulting air pollution can cause a range of health issues, including but not limited to; respiratory and cardiovascular problems. Wildfires also increase air pollution in surrounding areas and have a direct effect on regional air quality. The smoke from wildfires can range from eye and respiratory tract irritation to more severe disorders, All problematic to our health.

Wildfires and the Effects on Global Climate

Warming temperatures, which generally happen in the winter months, account for an increase in the fire season in the western United States and other parts of the world. Additionally, forest fires release tons of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases into the atmosphere, contributing to global warming. To mitigate the impact of wildfires on global warming, forest management practices should be used.
