I’m Tree Langdon, an editor at Words In Motion. I’m so inspired by the talented writers I’ve met here, and I’m always interested in your point of view.

I wanted to let everyone know that I’ve temporarily suspended the publication, due to some personal responsibilities. I’ll let you know when we are able to reboot.

In the meanwhile, I wanted to share stories I’ve received since the last newsletter.

Here’s one of my oldies.

I’m grateful to ILLUMINATION for their generosity in embracing other publications.

Most of Illumination’s writers have small publications that benefit from their encouragement. ILLUMINATION is committed to supporting these little guys and asks that you support them as well.

Illumination encourages our writers to write for other publications on Medium and don’t discourage them from testing new opportunities as they arise.

This concept of collaboration is huge and has resulted in some interesting synergies. It’s unusual to find a situation where editors of one publication encourage their writers to support another publication, but that is what they do.

Dr Mehmet Yildiz maintains that diversity is enhanced by sharing information within the writing community and we will all benefit in the long run.

I agree.
