Writing Is the Real Deal
And we do it cause it’s a necessary evil
‘They’ say that everything we learn is through experience. The same can be said for writing: the most valuable insights I have gained have not come from getting generic advice about how to do it. Nor did it come from someone simply sharing their experiences of being a writer. For some reason, this advice never stuck.
