I’ve always known that it was you and I.

Even back when you had no clue that it was you and I.
I knew it. It was you and I.

You and I destined for something much more,
deeper than words could convey,
and eyes could see
and ears could hear
and minds could wrap around
and understand
it to the fullness of the understanding that you and I have.

You and I.

This love that I have inside of my heart, it goes deeper.
It anchors so deep, so deep even the most vehement winds and tides can not capsize.

And every time when they ask me, is it you and her?
I gleefully always respond in the affirmative, yes it is You and I.
